You can setup an unlimited number of shipping zones based on countries or states/provinces.  Within each zone you can create an unlimited number of shipping methods (e.g. Regular, Express, Courier, etc).  Each shipping method can have an unlimited number of shipping rates (refer to Shipping Rate Examples below).

Your shipping rates can be setup incredibly quickly, the Admin area incorporates javascript code to allow you to edit, insert or delete any of the shipping rates (for a single zone) without reloading the page!  Very friendly user interface, while still offering a huge amount of functionality and flexibility.

Shipping Rate Examples (any combination of these examples can all be setup using this shipping module alone!):

• $2.00 for weight up to 0.25kg, $3.00 for weight up to 0.5kg, etc.
• $5.00 for subtotals up to $75.00, $8.00 for subtotals up to $150.00, etc.
• Free shipping for orders with subtotal of $ X or more.
• $3.00 for 1 item, $5.00 for 2 - 3 items, $6.00 for 4 or more items, etc.
• $1.00 + ($0.50 per kg) for weight up to 10kg, etc.
• $8.00 for subtotals up to $100.00, $4.00 + (5% of order subtotal) for subtotals over $100, etc   (Percentage pricing is useful for Insured/Registered post)

FAQ:

Does this shipping module work in X currency and Y weight units?
Yes.  The module uses your store default currency and weight units.  The module displays the currency symbol and weight units to avoid any possible confusion when you are entering your shipping rates.

I use multiple languages in my store, can I translate my shipping method names to other languages?
No.  You can enter whatever shipping method names you want, in any language of your choice, but they cannot be translated to other languages.
