This CubeCart mod is useful for all stores, it adds a professional looking contact form to your store allowing your customers to contact you easily, and it can also help to prevent an increase in the amount of spam you may receive.

Features:

New feature! If customer is logged in the CAPTCHA will not be shown.
If customer is logged in their name and email address will be automatically put into the fields.
Optional CAPTCHA visual verification allows you to minimize spam.
Any error messages (e.g. field not completed) are displayed immediately (no page reload).
Fully integrated within your store.
No limit to the number of contact forms.
By editing the HTML you can create custom contact forms utilizing many types of input fields (text input, drop down selection, radio buttons, checkboxes, etc) except file/image upload fields. Requires knowledge of HTML, some documentation is included to assist you.

Limitations:

With this mod, contact/email forms can only be added to your site documents.
These contact/email forms cannot be used to upload images/files.
When the contact form is submitted, the information is sent in a plain text email (no HTML).

Fixed error message arising on web servers with PHP 5.3.0+ The error message was: "Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated..."
Minor fix to error message that is displayed when the store skin is missing the recaptcha.tpl file (this can arise when a store is upgraded but a custom skin is used and it isn't updated).
Improved one of the error messages that is displayed when emails cannot be sent. The error message now explains that the problem is likely due to incorrect email settings in Admin General Settings.
Documentation (user guide) has been moved online so that it is easier to maintain/improve. Troubleshooting info will also be available online.
Updated links to reCAPTCHA which is now part of Google Labs.
Other minor (insignificant) code improvements.

Version 1.6

Compatibility with reCaptcha changes in CubeCart 4.3.4.
No longer using the 'white' theme for reCaptcha. Now uses the same theme as other parts of CubeCart, which is a minimalist 'custom' theme but can be changed in your skin's recaptcha.tpl file.
Minor improvement - no need to sign up to use reCaptcha. reCaptcha keys from the ini.inc.php file are now used instead.

New feature - CAPTCHA will not be displayed to logged in customers.
Improved compatibility with skins that use jQuery instead of Prototype (specifically Shopdev skins: Sandbox, Neutrino, Catalyst), this included updating jquery.validate.js to the latest version.
New feature - contact form will be hidden if mod is disabled (this feature will only work if the new example contact form is used)
New feature - store administrator can easily see if a new version of the mod is available.
Minor improvements to example contact form.
