This mod is for CubeCart 4.  Are you looking for a similar mod for CubeCart 3?

This CubeCart mod is great for cross-selling your products!  Plus it may allow quicker shopping for your customers.

Any product in your store can have accessory products setup. The "parent" product and any "accessory" products are all normal products in your store inventory. Accessory products will be listed in the product details page for the parent product, and each accessory product will have a checkbox beside it. Any accessory products that are selected (i.e. the checkbox is ticked) will be added to the basket at the same time as the parent product is added to the basket.

Features:

• Uses AJAX for very fast and easy selection of accessory products.
• Provides a fast and convenient way for customers to purchase two or more different products simultaneously
• Increase your sales by advertising associated products (e.g. a digital camera could have memory cards and soft cases listed as accessory products).
• Since the accessory product is a normal product in your store, the stock level for any accessory products will be decreased as per usual when it is purchased. This is a big benefit over trying to achieve the same functionality with regular product options (which aren't real products at all).

Notes:

The mod doesn't allow you to discount the prices. The "parent" product and "accessory" products are treated as completely independent products within the basket - they are currently not treated as a package. The quantities of the parent product and accessory product can be updated individually without affecting the other.

Compatibility:

• CubeCart version 4.1.x or 4.2.x.  NOT compatible with CubeCart 4.0.x!

Integration with other mods:

• Limited integration with Stock Levels for Product Options. They can be used together but note that out of stock / not available product options will not be hidden within the list of accessory products. Out of stock or not available product options can be selected and added, however standard stock level checks will occur when the customer goes to the View Basket page and any items that cannot be purchased will be removed from the cart.
• Limited integration with Visual Product Options. Any product options within the list of accessory products will simply be displayed as regular drop downs.
• Limited integration with Text Input Fields for Products. If you use these two mods together note that text input fields are not displayed within the list of accessory products.
• Full integration with Force Selection of Product Options
• Full integration with 'Product added to basket' message
