This mod is for CubeCart 4. Are you looking for a similar mod for CubeCart 3?

This mod will allow you to define unique stock levels and product codes for your product options. For example:

For product "T-Shirt X"
- 15 in stock in size "Small" colour "Red"
- 20 of stock in size "Medium" colour "Red"
- Out of stock in size "Small" colour "Black"
- etc

Features:

Stock levels are reduced following successful purchases
Each product variation can also have a unique product code for inventory tracking.
The stock level and product code is dynamically updated on the product information page when the customer selects chooses different product options from the drop down boxes
Customers will not be permitted to add a product to their basket if it is out of stock in the size or colour (etc) that they have selected -- a javascript popup warning will be displayed indicating that the product is out of stock in the product options that they have chosen. (Unless your store is configured to allow purchase of products that are out of stock)
Product options that are out of stock are removed from the list of drop down choices, where possible (** refer to note below).

** Note: Wherever possible product options will be hidden when they are not available for sale. However in some cases its not possible to hide the product options. For example if colour 'Red' is sold out in size 'Medium' but still available in size 'Small', the 'Red' colour will still be shown. If a customer selects 'Red' and 'Medium' a message will be displayed explaining that the selected size/colour is not currently available for sale and the customer will be prevented from purchasing it - they will be prompted to choose a different size or colour.

Version 1.8

Fixed compatibility with CubeCart 4.3.4 and more recent versions. The problem was that the following message was continually displayed even when there was sufficient stock of the selected size/colour: "Sorry but we cannot dispatch orders over our current stock level. The quantity of this item has been capped to 0."
Fixed bug that was introduced in v1.7 and affected stores running CubeCart 4.1.1 or older versions. This was the error... MySQL Error Occured Error Message: 1054: Unknown column 'top.option_type' in 'where clause'
New feature - store administrator can easily see if a new version of this mod is available.

Version 1.7

Fixed bug - product options of type textbox/textarea cannot be used for tracking stock.
Fixed bug - If product has 'Use stock level' set to No, but stock tracking by product options is enabled (i.e. just the product codes feature is in use) then show 'Stock Levels' link View Products page.
Fixed bug - German characters in out of stock or not available message were not displayed correctly within javascript popup window.

Fixed minor bug - 'not available' product options being displayed as 'out of stock'.
Fixed minor bug - HTML characters in out of stock string were not working correctly.

Minor bug fixes to correctly handle situation where stock level goes below zero.
